Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I own a black 2004 Nissan Altima SE. I love my car. My husband took the car out one morning and on a hill it just died. Everything just shut off. Once he realized that it was not the usual problems (like the battery or alternator) we towed it to the mechanic. He tried everything and narrowed it down to the main ECU. We are now looking to replace it. He stated that it was a common problem with the Altimas.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? Since this is the first time I am hearing about it, it caught me off guard.
