Mine is an S model too and it has the light. I found the bulb I need on Amazon.com, you aren't likely to find it at the auto parts stores.

what part number is the glove box light?? is it equal to a 194 or 168 bulb??

Here are other sites for LED bulbs I've been looking on:

www.v-leds.com

http://www.autolumination.com/

www.eautoworks.com

Every aftermarket supplier shoes the 158 bulb. Can you let us know if the 658 fits? Or if you have any numbers off the old bulb I can run it through our cross reference.

I can do that and I can also tell you the the 158 definitely does not fit. It's way too big for the socket.

I actually examined the bulb a little closer and it looks to be a #74 bulb. I had thought that there was no bulb in my s model, but apparently there is and I think it might've blown since it doesn't seem to come on even when the car is running. But it's no biggie as I just simply use the map lights to look into my glove box!

The dome number is 3175. I dont see a 3175 but I 3157. So was that a typo?

I think they're the same thing, just different type numbers or how other manufacturers label them. Like #194 is the same as #168...

NOOOOOOOOOO,

They are not the same, lol. A 3175 bulb looks like an old glass fuse.

MRHIG, the dome light for your car is actually a 175. Do not order 3157.

*edit* 175 and DE3175 are the same.

The map light should be the same for your car. What # did you order?

it was a 4410. It said it replaced the 578. Well I took at look at the 3157...yea...it was a brake/turn light.

hmmmm, 578 is a little different. The book for your car calls for a DE3175, 175 bulb
*edit* ignore the OEM map bulb. The pic is from a supra site.

Oops, my bad! I haven't changed out the tail lights yet of my 09 altima, so now I know it's 3157 for the brake/tail light and the 3175 is the fuse like bulb for dome lights for 02-06 altimas!

I changed out the map/dome lights of my altima and they take the #194/168 type bulbs for LED's.
