Default 95 altima

my mother in laws car broke on her the other day. she was going down the interstate when the car started losing power and the rpms jumping up and down. then the car died and would not recrank. got my truck and trailer to go get the car a couple of hours later and it cranked. test drove it today and 10 min into the drive did the same thing again. it wouldn't recrank at the time 10-15 min later it did recrank. and then drove it for another 30 minutes or so and it did not mess up again. took it to advance autoparts for a diagnostics check and it come up with 2 codes. camshaft position sensor and a knock sensor. does this sound like this could be the problem? hate to spend the money if this is not the correct problem.
thanks for any hel

Those knock sensors can be a pain in the ass. Cam sensor isn't that bad.

Those are 2 things the car definitely needs to run. I would replace them.
