I even tried to jump the car and still got no sound what so ever. I towed the car home yesterday and when I put it in Acc there is now a humming sound coming from the transmission case. It goes off when I turn the car off of course or the batter terminals, but other than that it just hums and I don't get any sound from the starter or anything for it to start. I am at a loss what to do. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Since you were cleaning the battery terminals I'm assuming they were pretty bad, check the main hot wire that runs to the starter for corrosion, shake the wire and move it around a good bit and see if it does anything different, if the wire is to bad, it won't do anything and you will have to replace it.
One other possible thing is, look on the floor board for a round piece of rubber and the lay on your back and look up at the brake pedal, You will have two pressure switches, make sure they have the rubber plugs in them.
