Hello everyone. I am new to the forum. I just purchased an 08 Altima SL in February. I had a 96 Maxima before that and it was simply the best car I ever owned. It had 217,000 when I sold it and it was still running strong. I sometimes wish I would have kept it a little longer... Anyway, I noticed that the Altima shifts all over the road at 55+ MPH when there is even a slight breeze. Is this normal? I never felt this in any other car I owned, at least not this dramatic. It is really hard to keep the car straight on the interstate. I took it to the dealer and they test drove it and said there is nothing wrong. The stupid service adviser said, "it is probably due to the speed sensitive steering." I know about this technology and it shouldn't cause this. I really think my steering is loose or something. Any suggestions? I also have a driver's seat that shifts slightly when I take corners...just enough to be annoying. They said it was fine too. This car is not what I hoped for!!
