I have a 2008 Altima S w/50k. When cold there is a vibrition felt and heard in the steering wheel. The noise as if a tire was rubbing. This only happens when turning right for less then the first mile driven cold. Then there is no problem. The car has been back to the dealer since new and they find no problem.
Cold there be a check valve in the steering causing a sonic vibration? Anyone one have any ideas on how to locate and repair this?
When you say cold, how cold because tires that are worn and stock tires aren't very good anyway are like square blocks until they get some heat in them.

Cold as in car not driven for more the 10-12 hours. Outside temp is little factor in this. It has been this way since about 8000 miles. I am on the second set of tires. This is not a tire problem. 32PSI no belt seperation.

Glad to know your sure its not your tires, a vibration felt through the steering wheel is usually caused by tires and or brakes. Can we assume your rotors aren't warped?
