Question ANOTHER fog light question

OK here is the deal I have a 2009 Altima coupe bought it new. When I bought it it did not come with fog lights. I recently bought projection fog light with halo's for it and the housing. I replaced the buld out and converted it to HID and had the harness modified by the dealer. THE QUESTIONS

1. Is my car wired from the factory for fog lights. I did not see any wires when I removed the bumper cover to install the fog lights?
2. My control on the other side of my turn signals for the lights does not have the fog light switch. If I replaced the control with one that has the switch would my wiring system acknowledge that the control has been switched and will use the fuse spot as if it was stock foglights?
3. If it will acknowledge the fuse spot can I wire my fog lights to the fuse spot?

Any help would be great on the subject its been driving me crazy since I got my fog lights installed and dont want a cheap looking switch attached to it. Thanks in advance

you have to get this fog light kit from courtesy parts. It has the replacement stalks that adds the fog option.

you have to check in your fuse box to see if there are 2 wires going in. If there are, then your car is prewired for fogs:

Went and looked and mine is not pre wired for fog light. But am I able to purchase the control unit and replace it with the one that is on there now and possibly be able to wire the fog lights to those ports and have it work?

If there was no fog light connectors under your bumper near the fog light blanks, then you're not wired for fogs. It is my understanding that the sedan is wired, but only coupes with the premium option package are pre-wired. I installed aftermarket fog lights that came with a complete wiring harness and a switch. The switch didn't fit in the switch blank on the dash of my 09 coupe, so I searched the internet till I found one. It's a rocker switch that fits perfectly into the switch blank on the left side of dash, down low next to the trunk release switch. Looks OEM. You can get it at painlessperformance.com (part number 80409).

Well the install went well!!! I unscrewed the controller that I had factory on the car and replaced it with the new one with the controls for the foglights. I installed the fog lights and hid the HID ballasts behind the bumper and ran the wiring to my fuse box. I am still trying to find a way to make the wires actually clip into the fuse box like factory. The end on the wires in their now have a locking mechanism so they dont pull out of the fuse panel. So if anybody has any ideas that would be great.

OK guys got another question for you as of right now the wires from the fog lights are just pushed into the fuse panel where the factory wiring should be but the wired are not "clipped" into the fuse panel with factory fuse panel ends on the wires. Does anybody have Amy idea how I could crimp the wires to a factory connecter so they would clip into the actual fuse panel?

Very clean job, like!
Can you share the cost ($-time) and suppliers?

I got the fog light kit from eBay. Got the HID fog lights from GTRlighting.com and the control from oem site. It took maybe 3 hours but was pretty easy install
