My leafs are not doing the best, but they are my team and I have to watch them.

Anyone else watching, or is it all football south of the border?

Bringing this thread from the dead, usually it is football and baseball, not to mention the bandwagoners here in Chicago. I try to watch as many games as I can, but sometimes I dont get home till 9pm. You can tell what team I like.

Also, what are your thoughts on Phil Kessel? I was laughing when the Wings got beat by the Leafs 2 days ago. I swear them Wings remind me of communist Russia. lol

Kessel is a little understated, but he's doing really well this year. Fast skater and quick snap shot. I'm hoping they can manage to make the playoffs this year.

Yeah he is a great hockey player, had 3 friends of mine play against him when he was 16, he just exploded with his stride, and by far the quickest release I have seen for 16 year old, I was 15 at the time. He also has hands too, which is a nice thing to have. lol

I just hope I see another Canadian team in the playoffs besides the Canucks. 40 years are and still going. lol

I forgot to ask you, who do you think will surprise everyone and sneak into the playoffs? I think the Panthers can do it and I would love for the Jets to make it as well.

I would like the Jets to make it, but honestly I only really care if Toronto makes it...

I'd like to see Pittsburgh make it after seeing Crosby's career ended.

I could never really get into it. However thats when I watched it on tv. Going to see a real game was pretty cool. We had a semi major league team. idk what happened to them

Come on Mike, how can you talk hockey and not bring up the Canucks. Did you watch the game on Saturday against the Bruins.

Yeah, I pretty much came to a conclusion that if he does not return this year he is done.

Yeah, going to a real hockey game you can actually appreciate the speed they play at, the saves, and lets not forget the hits.

O man, that is a big topic on another forum, all the people that are posting are either Canucks fans or Bruin fans. Its like a 5 page battle, just pointless when you hear your team sucks cuz of ____________. That was a good game.
