Altima08

My Charcoal 08 Altima is third Altima and I love this car. But I am concerned about getting out of the car and forgetting to hit the STOP button on the car. This happened this evening. My daughter looked out the window and said "Dad your car is still running." Yikes - I forgot to hit the stop button. I am disappointed the car didn't shut itself down when I walked away with the fob.

Does anyone know how to correct this situation?

I don't think this is at all possible. Would be an interesting idea. Like once you lock the doors and leave the car it would turn off. I wish it had that and remote start.

Have you forgotten to shut off any of your other cars??? It should be habbit I would think. Do you have problems forgetting to start the car too??? I'm just messing with you! It is a good idea though. Would make it nice to just be able to jump out and forget about it.

Good point. To me it's easier to remember to push the button because it is a big red glowing thing on the dash.
Kind of a reminder.
