Anyone have experience with Racingline springs?
I've been looking at all the different springs for an 06 Altima and the Racingline appear the most attractive for what I want.
As with most Nissans, even back to the old school Maxima I had, the front wheel gap is noticeably bigger than the rear. I would like to get an even gap on front and back.
What I don't want to do is turn my sedan into a bouncing rollercoaster that can't make it over a speed bump. I want a little stiffer ride and increased handling, but the main purpose for looking into springs is aesthetics.
Does anyone on this board have the Racingline springs on their Altima? If so, can you describe the difference in the ride and what other parts you purchased to make the suspension "perfect" i.e. camber adjusters, etc.
Also, if you put a couple people in the back seat, is the back dragging, or is the compression rate good enough to handle passenger load?
If anyone else would like to comment about other spring packages, too, please be my guest. I would love to hear if you had great results with another brand.
Thanks in advance to anyone responding.

lots of feedback on all the racingline products.
Taz is actually an active member on nissanclub. a lot of their products were produced thanks to feedback from the other members. i've heard nothing but good things about the racingline springs and they have a very nice even drop.
i myself will be using them when a drop is in my budget

Finished the install today. So far, I'm loving the stiffer ride and the look is sooo much better. I had a couple people on forums tell me that it wasn't very different from stock, but I can definitely tell a difference. The car has a noticeably stiffer ride, but it's not obnoxious like a "lowrider" per say. The spring rate seems very good. I haven't even worried about bottoming out and the rear can support people without sagging like a punished dog.
Here's some pics I took:

that looks good. did you have to replace shocks, struts or anything else on the suspension or did you just install the springs?

I went ahead and put KYB GR-2 shocks/struts on. I didn't want to do the work twice and I found a great deal on eBay. $157 for all 4 new including shipping.

How does the ride compare to the original set up? Does it reduce body roll and handle better?

YES! I think it handles 100% better and body roll is definitely reduced. Going from stock to this, not using any other brand previously, I can't give any reference to how they compare to say Eibach or S.Tech, but I am very happy with them for sure. I can drive my car like a "sport" sedan now instead of just a sedan, and I'm very happy with the leveled look.
Curves I used to take at 35 MPH, I can confidently take at 45 now and I don't feel like the rear end is going to lose control.

I'll be getting my "new" used '05 SE-R (6MT) in a week's time. Does anyone here have Racingline springs for more than 2 or 3 winters (where salt is used) and can comment on the paint holding up? I've heard bad things about Teins not being all that good over time and Eibachs sagging. H&R's stuff has got pretty good reuptation but the drop isn't that much on the front. So, just seeing what people's long-term feedback on the Racinglines are like.
Thanks in advance!

these springs are less than a year old as far as production. racingling is a fairly young company in itself but i've heard nothing but good things about their quality

Thanks Vqwerty for the info on their company! I just found Racingline is on the forum (Joe Scharfe) so I was going to e-mail him for some info too. I'm trying to find a good reliable strut+shock that won't abuse my body too much and will pair up nicely with some springs.
I'm still driving my '97 Maxima SE 5MT (until I take delivery of my SER next week). The Max has got Progress springs (from California) and KYB AGXs. The roads have gotten pretty bad around Toronto (Canada) where I live, so I'm looking for a spring set-up for my SER that isn't too harsh.
