So I just purchased a 97 altima and I don't like the stock radio so I got a nice pioneer deck I have all the harnesses and plastic pieces needed for the install but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the old deck out has any one changed their deck and might be able to tell me how to get it out? What pieces need to be taken off? I got the glove department and the piece under the steering wheel off and I found a screw under the piece that was under the steering wheel and I got the two screws above the radio out too is there any that Im missing?

dude thanks that is exactly what i needed. i knew that ring around the shifter came out it must have just been stuck by some car gunk

yea, i figured out the hard way. gotta pop the plastic square from the shifter and start finding the mystery screws.
