so i have had my car, new, for 22 months and the battery already dying. ITs only done it twice which is weird and the car was only off for a couple of hours. I gonna take it in saturday i was told i would have to pay half of it cuz the warranty only covers it a year. did anyone else have problems with the batteries that early?

Hmm, my battery has been pretty strong and I have 2 amps drawing from it constantly including a 1F cap.

I'd guess it's a defective battery and should be replaced by parts dept. under warranty.

I bought my car about 2-3 weeks ago and it still has the original battery and I don't have any problems. I do have an optima battery I will be replacing it with as soon as it hiccups.

I am looking for an after market, High Output alternator for when I install the system, haven't found one yet though.

Do you have any eletrical upgrades; like a sound system?
