I'm about to purchase a new Jensen VM9022 6.5" multi function deck for my 08 Altima.
Does anyone know if its possible to retain the functionality of the steering wheel controls & where I can get the dash mounting kit? Thanks boiezz.

Im not sure if you would have functions of the steering wheel controls. You would have to ask a pro shop for that, they might be able to do it for you, it really depends on the type of deck I believe. Shops have the dash kit as well, But if they charge you too much or something let me know because I have an extra dash kit. I bought one and then brought car to shop and they ended up having one, so now I have extra.

Im not sure how much i want to sell the kit for. Im not too sure if it will fit yours, what climate controls do you have? My pro shop is Pacific Stereo, in the bay area. http://www.altimaforums.net/finally-got-my-t428.html thats my thread on my stereo. Its not much, I may upgrade it in the near future.

You can get your steering wheel controls, but you have to get a converter. I believe they run about $50.00. Some aftermarket radios have them built in to have function to the radio controls..
