I recently purchased an 08 Altima SE. I upgraded from an 02 Maxima, and could not be any happier with the Altima. This is my first new car, and I have been paying very close attention to every thing about it. I have noticed that when I go over a speed bump, or any significant bump for that matter, that the front shocks make a slight hissing noise. It is not a knock, and I don't feel anything abnormal, just hear the hissing noise. Is this noise normal? I am so used to driving cars with bad suspensions, I am not sure what noises are normal and what ones are cause for concern.
