Haha...Thanks fellas. I just made it up.

Actually, back in the day, I sold mobile electronics and was an MECP installer. It was a lot of info to learn. That was around the 1994-2000 era...Right after high school. Long time ago...Looooooooonnnnnnnngggggg time. Ago.

I have a 2009 Altima Hybrid. Does anyone have recpmmendations on a subwoofer? The trunk is smaller in a hybrid due to the battery pack. Maybe one of those low-profile powered unit for under the seat??

How about building a box for a single 10" sub? It's not going to boom, but it'll fill in the missing low end.

Depends on the T/S parameters of the subwoofer...these parameters usually are provided along with the sub...with the exception of complete junk like pyle, pyramid, etc.

I want to replace all my stock speakers with fosgate punches and put in a fosgate 500W 4-channel amp but leave the HU, would that work for quality sound.

It could work, but it would definitely be better over all with an aftermarket HU.

That's understandable. Well, it'll definitely make a huge difference in sound. The stock speakers come as garbage right out of the factory.
