i have an 07 se 6sp sedan and was driving my bosses 09 2.5sl auto sedan and noticed when you put the car in drive the doors automaticlly lock when the car starts to move....noticed the same thing on a friends 08 coupe 2.5 auto. Does this feature only come on auto tranny models or is mine not working?

they might not be set properly. You can go to the dealer to change the settings. I know that some of my auto lock settings were reset from the auto body repair shop after my fender bender. Before, if you unlocked all the doors while the car was off, they'd stay unlocked forever, but the auto body repair shop said that they had to reset the settings, so I noticed that after 30 seconds, the doors would all lock. I just haven't had a chance to go back to the dealer to have them change or reset them

Any idea whats involved w reseting them? something simple? hate going to the dealer for any type of service!...thanks

I would like mine to lock when I shift to drive and unlock in park. I have an 07 with a 2.5S auto. Can someone let me know how to do it myself? Thanks

I wondered why my wife's '08 3.5SL with every option available to mankind didn't have auto door locks. I swore to her it had to be "defective" auto locks. Then I was told that they were standard on 09's and later. Her's didn't have them.
