Talking Best car washing products i've ever used!

This product works ridiculously well, and smells like candy apples.
It is called ICE and it is by Turtle Wax. I have used all of the products except for the claybar, and rim cleaner. Although i haven't used it on my black Altima yet, i did use it on my aunts Polished Pewter Altima. It looks incredible and has a terrific finish. I just can't get over the smells of the products either. This is the ALTIMAte () product. I still use Meguiars for the interior though, because i have no need to switch over to anything else. Just thought if any of you guys needed some ideas for types of carwashes and such, that i might recommend something incredible to you all.

Good day and happy carwashing!

I personally love Turtle Wax ICE car wash. It works GREAT, I just wish I could find a great tire shine.

AltimaSL back from the grave...

I use Kleen-flo wash and wax and Armorall tire shine with foam applicator for the wheels.

it doesn't seem to last as long though. I like the turtle wax tire shine as it seems to last about a week or so...maybe NOT as glossy looking as Black Magic Tire Wet or Shine

True. But I typically wash my car weekly and by the time my tire shine wears off my cars dirty.

^^Agree, my car is washed weekly during the summer, but tire shine application is dependent on road conditions. If it's dry, the shine will last for up to 3 weeks, but it's pretty rare to not have any precip. for 3 weeks here.

Me too!
If the rims and tires aren't shining, the car doesn't even look clean.

So today I decided it was warm enought to give my car a wash. It was -4C or 24F, not overly warm but good enough. I got all dressed up, filled a bucket with hot water and turtle wax and headed out. It was at that point I thought to myself I wonder if the hose is going to work. Sure as sh*t the hose is frozen solid. I thought I had drained all the water from the last time, but apparently I didn't get all of it. I didn't want to waste a nice bucket of wash and wax so I used a few buckets of water to wet the car down then used another few buckets to rinse. Then a chamois to dry. I have to say it turned out pretty nice. The turtle wax still did a good job even in cold weather.

So I went to our local Carwash and got my car wash and noticed that there was some soap buildup in the rear spoiler, does it just rinse off or should I try to clear it out?

It should clear away when you drive down the road. If not I would clean it up.

I got turned on to Meguiars by a pro body shop years ago, have used their products ever since and have never been disappointed.

Recently I came across their marine product for protecting vinyl and rubber. It works great on the tonneau cover of my truck.

A couple weeks ago I got the Meguiars Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit. It worked wonders on the hazed tail lights of my 10 year old truck.
