I am kind of confused. What exactly does this feature do for me? From what I have read it seems to be a hands free phone device. If this is true, why wouldn't I just use a ear piece? Wouldn't that work the same?

To my knowledge.. There is a microphone somewhere near the driver side visor. When you recieve a call, the sound alerts you through your stereo speakers and the entire call is heard through them also.

I'd double check on that though..

A bluetooth in a car?? That's something I've never heard of! I love my bluetooth for my cellphone, but it would be wonderful on a carphone!

I have a bluetooth on my GPS system. It connects right with the system and I am able to make calls and answer calls right from it. I enjoy it very much.
