Default brake noise

hey all, I been having this noise coming from my front right brake area, whenever i break lighty it makes a screech sound, like metal on metal type of sound. I took it to the dealer, they said something was wrong and they had to replace something on the inside part of the brakes. They fixed it and i still hear this sound after i drive it home. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem? any feedback appreciated! thanks!

That's your problem right there. I would take it back and make them do it right. Do you think it could possibly be brake dust build up?

Well, sometimes pads are just noisy, thats why I always buy ceramics.

Ceramics are the quietest pads available, also leave the least amount of brake dust on the wheels. A little more pricey but worth it.

I tried putting that CRC (Red Stuff) brake quiet but the rear brakes still squeak like crazy at low speeds! (When I applied the CRC brake quiet on my previous car, it worked like a charm!) Took it to the dealer but they said since I messed with the brakes already that they couldn't do anything. Told me that my shims were missing but didnt even take the wheel off to properly check it. And the shims are there!!! Damn STEALERSHIPS! I'm planning to swap out my rear brake pads with ceramic pads... $60 at NAPA. I'll take pics and post it later when i get around to changing it.
