Default caliper painting.

was thinking of painting my calipers w/ the g2 system and adding the vinyl caliper stickers to my stock calipers. just wondering if anyone has done this and if so do you have any pics of your results ? i currently have black 18" rims so i was thinking black caliper paint w/ the yellow sticker.got the idea from a z i saw in import tuner.same color car and same rims, i know i`m biting big time but it looked really good.

I hosed my calipers down with brake cleaner and brushed them with a wire brush. If your brush has a plastic handle, the brake cleaner will eat whatever holds the bristles in place and they'll end up falling out. After they were clean, I just used some high temp black paint. Turned out nice and they held up pretty good last winter. No pics though...If I get a chance, I'll take some.

I just used some high temp paint from the parts store. The main thing is cleaning the rust and crud off good, like Penguinchit said. I did mine and the rotors in blue. Don't worry about much overspray, it grinds it right off the rotors! I think you can WAY overpay for caliper paint. I think your idea will work and look one-off of stock. Go for it!
