Can you be more specific? Does it shake violently or just a little? Does it seem to come from the front or rear, left or right? Can you feel the shaking in the steering wheel at all, or the pedals?

Offhand, I would wonder about something up with the transmission, also potentially a wheel balance or bearing issue, thought those will typically manifest at higher speeds.

Have your front tires balanced and see what happens. Also have the tire shop take a good look at your bearings & driveshafts for play, but I'm betting on balance.

hey thank you for your replies first of all..

i actually took it to an uncle of mine who has a workshop in new york....i actually bought the car from another person that i knew, who never actually got his tires rotated, hence the tires are the reasons for the vibrations etc...need to get new tires...which i was planning on doing anyways so i guess no harm.........

thank you once again for the input appreciated it ...tc

No problem man. I'm happy for the forum activity - I'm getting cabin fever in here

For vibration at that low of a speed, you must have had wicked cupping or feathering in those tires. All I know is... damn.

Where in the city are you at/from? And Jersey? Last year I lived in White Plains, office in College Point (we could stand on the roof and see Shae Stadium), and was regularly over in Orangeburg, Ridgefield, Trenton, & Teterboro.
