I did go to Autozone and got it checked. It turned out to be crank shaft sensor.. through so internet searching I was able to replace the part. It took quite awhile to figure out how to get to it, but then after the internet came in handy, I found a detailed diagram on how to get to it and fix it.. Works good now..

yes. you can go to AutoZone and they can scan it for you for free (at least they used to), or do what I did and just go buy a code scanner from autozone or any automotive parts store.
