thanks! first thing i think im going to do is paint it this winter, probably coilovers, brakes and other minor things like that. in the summer im either building this dual cam ka and boosting it or doing a clean sr20.

Nah thats not a real Silvia. Cant be. Screw a SR20! KA24!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Theres a huge debate over those two engines and Im rooting for the underdog xD

yea its not a "real" silvia. it would be impractical, expensive and overall stupid to try to import a real one here. why would anyone do that if all it is a right hand 240 with a sr20. if anything i could buy a right hand clip for a few hundred and have myself a silvia. but this is in great shape, no short cuts taken to get the jdm front end on, all parts are oem, jdm bumper support and everything in the car works. ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A PAINT COLOR? im leaning towards a clean white, but do love my boys dark silvia blue. and yes higgles im leaning towards building this ka and boosting it. more reliable block, and parts are easier to find and cheaper for the ka's

The SR20, from what I've heard, is a solid motor, but you're right about finding parts. They always have to be ordered. The KA is such a common motor, parts are a breeze to find.

I'd import an s15 Silvia over buying a 240 any day
I'd go ka. Motor is already there and fully capable of power

sr20's a fine piece of engineering but everyone and their mom does that swap. nicely done ka-t's are rather rare. and me personally my favorite nissan body is the s13 silvia because of the sharp lines of the coupe. thats why i HAD to have this. imo the s14,s15s look bloated.

im too lazy to sign up for zilvia or other 240 forums so ill keep u guys updated on here lol. so far ive done some basic maintainence on it. oil changed, new injectors, ngk plugs w/ wires, drained and filled tranny and rear diff fluid, hids, new fuel filter, new intake.new headunit! and few other little things. just ordered new rotors and pads, new sway bars, and new coilovers... that should be everything until i turbo it. btw i got a precision turbo,bov, and manifold sitting at my friends shop with my name on it
