Default Clicking noise during braking & shifting

Hello all
My automatic 03 Altima SL started making a noise whenever I press the brake pedal. As we all know, to shift out of any gear, we have to press the brake pedal. That pressing releases a plastic "clamp" below the shift knob. When I first bought the car, I did not hear any noise when shifting. After a sirius installation, I noticed a plastic noise coming from the shifter area whenever I press the brakes. I took the panel off, and nothing seems broken or torn.

So. Does anyone with an 03 altima (or any year) hear a plastic sounding noise whenever they press the brake pedal (whether to shift or not)?

thanks,
Norman
