Default Codes

I havE a 2005 nissan altima and im having trouble with it.it stays in 5 gear and i got 2 codes p0726 and p1726.what can i do?AFTER ITS PARKED FOR LIKE 45 MINS.IT COMES BACK TO NORMAL FOR A BIT AND THEN IT STARTS AGAIN

CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!!!!

Still need some help? Your thread was off the map in the wrong area which is why it was missed. This is a common crank sensor issue.

Thank you very much!!!!!i brought it to a little garage that i did not even know and he fix for like 50$ and the other mechanics where telling me it was the tranny....anyways thanks for your help bud!!!!!AND IT WAS THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR OUTPUT ONE.

It was in the Rumors and Concepts heading. That area is not moderated all that often so it kind of fell through the cracks.

Nice to hear you got it fixed. There have been owners that have replaced the transmission for this issue along with many other parts. $50 is a steal!
