had my 08 altima with 50k mi for only 3 weeks now, and a constant rattling noise idling, acclerating, and coasting, came after tearing off my driver side fender whell hitting a pumpking i believe at 50 mph, and getting in a minor fender bender where it really started getting noticeable. it sounds like it's coming from where the fender whell should be. did i screw up the timing chain, serpentine belt, or any internals in the engine? i hit a cars side going about 15 mph coming to somewhat of an abrupt stop, and wanted to know if that's what caused it or just whatever water has made it's way up into the engine compartment. the wheel cover part of the fender is still in tact, the under side connecting to the fascia just isn't, it's missing torn off. any input would be appreciated, still purchase shocked at my $19k investment

found out what was causing the noise, turns out the two hit combo screwed up my heat shield as bad as to replace. is there an easy fix for this, like welding, or throwing on some bolts and straps?

Take heat shield off, throw in trash!!! I have never had any of these repaired ones last.
