Just wanted to point out a couple specific things I notice regarding the hesitation issue and "when" it presents itself.
1.
Car is warmed up. It does NOT do the hesitations…or very minimally and not very noticeable when the car is cold or first run in the morning…first 10 minutes
2. RPM’s hang around 1250. Noticed when the car was cold and things were fine, it hung more around 1500 rpms.
3. When I turn the A/C on , the RPM’s hang around 1250 a lot more often. Acceleration that typically stays closer to 1500 RPM’s will be closer to 1250 when the A/C is on.
It seems the 1250 RPMs is a key to when the hesitations present themselves, which might simply be a part of the gear ratios and the TCM not knowing where it wants to go.
I think its interesting that the car does well when cold though. Could it be a fluid issue? I just had the oil changed (5w30 Valvoline Maxlife high Mileage) though these hesitations were happening before the oil change. Even though I am do for a Transmission Fluid Flush…could thick vs thin transmission fluid play a role at all (aka, cold vs hot).
Any other thoughts on the Cold vs Hot issue you could think of?
