Default Cruise Control

I try testing cruise control, I don't know if it works differently with a manual, I cannot get it to work.

The CEL is on so I think maybe, that would be the issue.

If a CEL does cancel it out, lemme know, thanks. Otherwise I will look for other reasons why.

The light does turn on when I press the on button

Check the little plastic bumper on the brake pedal. They always become brittle after about 10-12 years or so. If that is the problem, then change the brake light sensor bumper also. The bumpers are clear or black and you have to press them in with some force.
