Default Custom Catback drawbacks?

i'm pretty new to altimas and 4 cylinders, but i was wondering if there were any drawbacks to getting a custom catback with 3" piping as apposed to the stock 2.25 or 2.5" piping on my 2.5 sedan. i'm eventually planning to go turbo but for now, i was thinking of having this catback made. i was quoted for about 450 by a reputable shop here in southern california. so to simplify:

1) 2.5/2.25 piping vs 3" piping?
2) price? (if anyone here in socal can point me to a shop with a better price pm me)
3) worth it? (yes, i know the car is a 4 banger, i dont really care about that. im asking if the price justifies the gains)

I have a custom borla on mine and I went with 2.5 cause I wanted to keep some bottom end while increasing top end. A 3" on a nonturbo 4cyl would murder your tq

Well the mufflers sell at $214 a piece on Borla's website however I got these on sale for about 170. Guy charged me 60 bucks to do it. I live in MS though. The guy also gave me a nice discount. One day I may bite the bullet and get a real catback but for now I'm loving mine

No resonator. This car sounds like it isn't loud however it shook my windows on my house when I went flying past one day
