Right, so you push that silly little tc button, it pops up... TCS off.
Now is this were true, when sat at a full stop, you put it from auto CVT into the Trip. You slam the gas... you get this pathetic squeek from the wheels, you feel your engine cut all it's power, you roll about 3-5 inches then the power kicks back in! ANNOYING!
Now i want someone to tell me, is there any way at all, without upgrading the ECU, Tuning or chipping. Is there any way you should tap that annoying button? Is there a certain amount of time you should hold it? ( i've tried, TC is on, press the button and hold for 10 seconds and the light goes off, then ur unable to turn it off again, like a TC locking system so its always engaged, if you try this, only way to get it back to the norm is pressing that pretty little starter button )
So please, anyone! I want to be able to slam that peddle to through the floor, feel my wheels skid, grip and then feel myself slammed back into the seat as my car pelts it forward. I haven't met anyone in person who has an answer for this, its all try this try that... then there is also.. oh you need to go get it Unichipped and tuned. Which isn't that expensive in all fairness... BUT not all these "tuners" know how to tune certain vehicles!
So again, please... anyone? got an answer?!

today i did some experiments to do with a Fuse. Abs fuse to be exact, now i do advise against this, as you get a lot of warning lights and the speedo stops working, but if u turn off your car, open the hood ( 3.5 v6 this is by the way ) fuse box on ur right, take off the cover, using the fuse puller ( found in the fuse box under the steering wheel, its a white clip like object ) remove the 5th fuse down on the left side of the central fuse panel ( abs fuse, look on the cover of the fuse box and the map is there ) now, go start your engine.
Give it 30 seconds or so to warm up. Notice all the warning lights. It's a bit of a worrying sight. But just take the car for a quick spin. Notice the CVT triptronic gear box is no longer acting like an automatic. Infact. get into 6 th ( not knowing what speed obviously due to no speedo ) possibly about 60 miles per hour. Hit the gas. notice theres no auto down shift, yet... there's alot of pull. Then go play on corners. Notice your handling may feel a bit stiffer, dont know why that is. Go into the corners quite quick, an notice something as you down shift. You now can down shift like a real manual, as you accelerate, watch your revs as you shift gears. They dont drop as much, when shifting and you can also take it all the way up to the redline 7,500 revs and hear it cut off.
Now, stop... put it into 1st. Hold your brake pedal at the same time, press the accelerator, almost like launch control... gets to about 2,500 revs. Then, release the brake and wooooohooooo.... your traction control aint working no more! nice wheel spin, crazy torque unleashed from zero, slammed into your seat and ----, thats fun. Oh and the response, tap the accelerator in any gear at any ( guessed ) speed and the car jerks you back. I dont know what happens when that little fuse aint present but the car seems well. A bit more... aggressive. Which is nice.
Now due to all the warning lights, i only played round for 10 minutes or so, please. speed cameras around... kinda sucks having no speedometer. So put the fuse back in, an everything is back to normal! except silly me, forgot to disconnect the battery! so if your gonna try this experiment, prior to doing anything. i advise you to disconnect the battery first. ALSO remember, you have no traction control, Stability control or... ABS. So, play on an empty road somewhere to test it out. Tomorrow i have another "Theory" to test out, but for anyone who's interested... i'll let you know how that goes!

If you can,make an video of this.That would be nice!!!I have an 06 Altima 2.5S and I wont to know if I can do the same thing.Its stock but I read what you said about the corners, I wont to see if this will happen to my Altima.

Its fairly simple. I dont know what the use box is like on the 2.5, if its any different or not.
Simply locate it, open it, look at the inside of the cover ( there will be a fuse layout map ) Locate the ABS fuse. Remove it ( be careful not to damage it, use the fuse puller located in the interior fuse box, mines located to the left and down besides the steering while, top right of the fuse box. looks like a large white piece of plastic, pull it out and it becomes a handy little tool ) Use this to pull your fuse out. I dont imagine the traction control to be as strong in the 2.5 as in the 3.5 as its nearly 100 bhp weaker. If its the same traction control system on both the 2.5 and 3.5 that must suck, as with the 3.5 when its active and you put your foot down when at traffic lights or something similar, you get an instant lag in power. Feel like the engine is cut to about 50 bhp! ( which is criminal!!! )
But yeah, its as simple as getting the fuse puller, locating and opening your fuse box in the engine bay. Locating the correct fuse using the fuse layout map which is located on in the inside of the fuse cover. The 3.5 fuse box when open, had 3 main sections. To the left it had Larger fuses on a separate panel. Then two panels next to each other. With alot of wiring connected to the middle. It was the 5th fuse down from the rear end of the engine bay on the left side a RED 10v small fuse which was my ABS control fuse. When this was removed, traction control was no longer active in an way, shape or form. But also, neither was my speedometer or my vehicle stability control and of course, my ABS. I dont advise in doing this, as i can see it being unsafe. It was just an experiment which i had learnt from a friend who did it on his older model Altima, which just deactivated the traction control nothing else.
