Don't Know What to Make of This...
I was going around checking everything and saw my motor mount all funky looking.. Maybe this is the cause to all the shaking...
Here is a pic of it.
What do you guys think?

Not sure what to make of it. It looks ok, or am I missing something obvious?

I don't know what a bad motor mount looks like but maybe it's just looks cosmetically bad. Maybe the rubber just needs to be reconditioned or cleaned..

It does look rather odd. The fold deffinately shouldn't be there. You mentioned that your expirencing shaking? Its very possible this is the cause. I would try to compare it to the other motor mounts in the car. Before deciding to replace it I would have a tech take a close.look at it. There's only so much that can be learned on forums

Yea. I looked at the others and they look fine. It's just this one that looks odd. I compared it to a new one from autozone and it doesn't have the fold in it.

That motor mount looks torqued out of position or something. Normally these mounts twist and then twist back under stress - it looks like yours twisted to the point it could not go back to normal. That's one of the reasons why the engine usually does not shake, because that mount is a damper - if it cant move it cant absorb the vibrations. Ever rode in a car with poly mounts? Wow, dont do it with fillings in your teeth.

The guy at autozone told me to replace it. too bad i didn't have the money with me at the time (just filled the last of what i had in gas). LOL can't get poly mounts then. In all seriousness, your explanation makes sense. I was wondering if this would also play into a slight loss in torque when going from nothing up to speed..

Well, if the warped motor mount is causing the motor to move more - then yes you will loose tourque. If it is siezed up and cannot move as much then you might notice an increase in tourque but an increase in vibration too. Although he might be right, the guy from Autozone cannot be trusted! I worked for them for awhile and know that they will sell anything to anyone just to make their quota. Not to mention they have a 70% markup and use remanufactured parts for EVERYTHING. It might cost more, and be a bit more inconvenient but I try to go to Oreilly or anywhere else.

Check NAPA too - I know they tend to be more expensive but sometimes they have stuff nobody else does. Don't sound like thats the problem though which is good. Might even consider mail order if you have the time to wait.

Yeah, that's the only place I could find a radiator fan for my Jeep and an EGR valve for my Chrysler - see a pattern emerging there? Now you know why I drive a Nissan!
