Default Drivers Window sticking down

Has anybody had any problems with the electric windows getting stuck down or acting very, very slow? It was down below 10 degrees a few days back and my daughter stopped for coffee at 6:30AM and the driver's window almost didn't come back up. She tried the other windows and they seemed to be working fine. The car had set outside all night, no garage, and I'm assuming it may have just been to cold for it. Is this just an anomaly or will continue to be a problem do you think? I have had power windows for years and only remember a similar problem on an older GM vehicle that was several years old and I finally changed the motor out. How hard is it to replace the motor in an Altima? The car just went out of warranty a month or so ago. Thanks for the help!

Yes same problem....Back window stuck down once it got cold and had to be helped up. Luckily my car is still under warranty . Took it to the Dealership and they replaced the regulator..Can't help you with how hard it is but it took them about 45 minutes.

That's good to know. It's only about 12 degrees right now so I would guess we may see it happen again.

Merry Christmas!

Yes, similar issue, especially after the first freeze. I also use my driver window a lot to get into my parking garage at work. My dealer said not to worry about it until it gets stuck when it's warm out.

Driver's window stuck in full down position while driving in first use two days after a freeze.
No action at all.
Opened and slammed the door and window closed okay on second try.

Update: Dealer has ordered new window motor under warranty.

Just bought a 2010 1 week ago today. 2 days after I brought it home my youngest hit the window button and it went all the way down but would NOT come back up on it's own. With an occasional 40's it's been in the high 20's to low 30's here in michigan so when I bought the Altima I didn't roll the windows down. Took it to the dealer today and they lubed up the "rails" that the window rides in. It has sped up some and the windows will come all the way up on thier own but very slowly. The manager said this happens, moreso in the winter, if you dont use the windows that often or if it's just plain cold out. Sometimes dirt can get in the rails also.

This has never happened on any car I've owned but they took care of it in 5minutes and I dont use the back windows much in any car I've owned. If it still happens this summer I'll be getting something replaced while it's still on warranty. Or if it just doesn't improve with usage(like they said it would). I'll be messing with it here and there.
