Hey guys,
Since this thread was resurrected from the dead I figured that I'd share a nifty write-up on replacing the driven disc and pressure plate on a '97 Altima. I'll see if I can find a solid write-up for the entire clutch job later

1) Remove the transmission/transaxle from the engine.
2) Insert a clutch alignment tool all the way into the clutch disc hub. This must be done to support the weight of the clutch disc during removal.
3) Matchmark the clutch assembly-to-driveplate relationship for installation reference.
4) Loosen the pressure plate bolts in sequence, a turn at a time.
5) Remove the pressure plate and clutch disc.

6) Inspect all components and replace as necessary.
7) Take a breather- grab some air or a six-pac!
8) Lubricate the transaxle/transmission splines with grease.
9) Install the disc on the splines and slide it back and forth a few times.
10) Remove the disc and remove any excess grease.
11) Be sure no grease contacts the disc or pressure plate.
12) Remove the release mechanism from the transmission/transaxle housing.
13) Lubricate the bearing sleeve inside groove, the contact point of the withdrawal lever and bearing sleeve, the contact surface of the lever ball pin and the lever with a lithium based molybdenum disulfide grease.
14) Install the clutch disc on the alignment tool.
15) Install the pressure plate and evenly tighten the bolts to 16-22 ft. lbs. (22-29 Nm).
16) Remove the clutch alignment tool.
17) Install the transmission/transaxle.
18) Bleed the clutch hydraulic system and adjust the clutch pedal.
