I am selling the fog lights from my 03 with HID's, I wonder if they can be made to work with your car.

courtesyparts.com sells a kit for $175. It comes with the fog light assembly and replacement stalks.

I'm looking to buy one as well, but I like the ones from ebay because I don't like the fact that you have to turn on your headlights first before enabling the fogs with the courtesyparts.com version. The ones from ebay have a separate switch which looks like it mounts in the console area as the trunk release.

Yeah i want to be able turn on my fogs separately as well. But if not, i'll just suck it up and look beyond that

Id get the nissan kit, it probably comes with more brackets and is for sure a complete kit where as the ebay kit is probably more of a replacement kit and might not have everything you need. I found this out when buying a fog kit for my 98 accord that wasnt complete and ended up buying factory kit anyway. As far as wiring the fogs to come on seperate ,whomever installs it can wire it anyway you want to be wired. Id like my fogs to come on by themselves but my car came w fogs from the factory so it would have to be a re-wire that i havent seen anyone do yet.

Rewiring is always possible, but not always easy. As far as the aftermarket kits, be prepared to do some scavenging for the right wires etc. because usually they are in no way complete. Yes the Nissan kit costs more, but do you really want some funky auto zone rocker switch sitting in a cutout next to the factory ones? When people do that it just makes me want to slap them. I was even thinking of getting a fog light kit and wiring it so that they function somewhat like DRL's, but who knows if that is even possible...

yeah the ones from courtesy parts are just the fog light assembly and replacement stalks so they're essentially very easy to install, just plug & pray!!

JPL, OEM are easy to install if your car is prewired for foglights.......Have you checked? I hear that alot of the 07-09 Altimas are not prewired. But I could be wrong.

I am not sure if they are prewired but, if when i do i'll more than likely bring it to a shop around here to ensure they are installed correctly

Mine's an 08 and does not have the wiring for it (I know there is a write-up somewhere on this forum on how to find out). It sucks, but then again, it is super easy to wire up aftermarket fogs to draw directly from the batt and trigger on the headlights with a relay
