I've thought of this also. If i were to do this conversion to the front end what all will i need. I heard the fenders and liners would be needed as well as the headlights. Anyone?

You'd need grill, headlights and hood. Fenders aren't different. Fender liners are a bit different, but a lot of people get away with not having to change them.

Thanks, Penguinchit. I'll be looking for the stuff to change over to the SE-R componets then.

Sounds expensive, good luck.

My JDM Tsudo SP catback exhaust was installed today and it sounds great Next up is headers. Suggestions on brand?
Btw the exhaust was installed by a local Meineke and cost me $160.

When you look for a hood, make sure you don't buy a steel hood. Those things are super heavy and the weight causes their pop to suck when you try to open the hood.

Have been looking at the stuff to do the conversion.. this stuff isn't cheap. Even when i find them, i'll need to get the entire car painted. I'll be watching the used market for the items i'm needing. Till then i'll make do with my OE bumper and maybe a lip. Thanks for all the tips guys.

Interested to see what you have planned after the wheels. Wheels should look good though. What color are they being powder coated?

Giving an update although it seems no one really cares haha.
My "gift" is currently being built and should be on the car in about a month. Ordering $400 worth of parts tonight to go along with it.

Getting my new front bumper installed on Tuesday and hopefully the rims will go on soon.

Haha thanks. And I hate convertibles :P This mod is not super unique but it will probably be one of the only (if not THE only) altima's with it on Long Island .

My guess...

New front bumper to compliment your custom coilovers??? Although you say it....

So what could be appearance related, not be a new front bumper, not be a set, and yet be unique??? Stumped.
