Default GF Performance chip? WTF

So I came across this on the web and supposedly this $70 chip gives you up to 60HP and 7 more MPG. Yeah right, well I called and asked the guy what is a more realistic true gain for the 07 3.5 and he told me 30-40 HP and 4 MPG more gains. For $70 this is not realistic at all. This has to be a scam but they have a liftime warranty and also a money back guarentee. Anybody ever heard about this? I found it here:http://www.gfchips.com/nissanaltima.aspx

Let me know what you all think. How awesome would it be to spend $70 for 30 more ponies. Like I said I dont buy it at all!!!

this has been discussed before. Those performance chips don't even do much for the coupes. Our altimas weren't designed to be altered or affected by those chip programmers. They'd probably work on the 350/370z's or g35/g37 coupes.

Not sure if they'd work on the maximas...

the only things I can think of that might be affected would be maybe the timing of the idling, but that's just speculation.......

The only car you can chip and see a difference is one with forced induction. Save your money, work on intake/exhaust
