Default Grounding Kit ?....

What exactly are the advantages or gains to be had by using a grounding kit? On any car?

Default Grounding

They make better electrical power connections. Not so much in pure HP gains, but stronger faster cranking, power windows up and down faster, brighter lights, smoother engine power due to stable current to sensors, etc. I made my own using install instructions from a web page for about $25 I think it was well worth less than an hours labor.

That kits not bad. I bet that you might be able to buy the materials for cheaper than $50 and do it yourself. Buuuuut I'm lazy so I know I'd go for that one. Good link!

I made one as well. Noticed no difference at all. I think the bigger benefits are on the older cars where the stock grounding may be corroded and the flow isn't what it used to be.

Grounding kits offer little to no benefit and only slight reduce load, the manufacturer designed the car for a certain amount of electrical load, when you start going OVER that by installing HID kits aftermarket sound system, etc you require a grounding kit

I might notice it more because of power everything on my car- HIDs, Bose 8 speaker, power moonroof, heated seats, etc. It loves power and I am here to tell you it was noticable. Windows are faster, it cranks instantly and strong, no dimming the lights with the tunes jamming through the amp, etc.
