Lightbulb Headlight haze problems.

My aunt has a 2005 Altima 2.5SL and the headlights are almost too hazy to even see the bulb. I noticed that it is a common problem with that generation and was wondering if anyone had any fixes, to avoid paying $600.00 for a new set of headlights.

Thanks,
AltimaSL

I have been there!
Is the Haze on the inside or outside of the Lens?

If its on the Inside there is a bad seal and you have to bake them in the oven..and I would not recommend it. It does not always work and most of the time the lenses crack.

On the outside There is a Neat system you can buy for like 40 bucks. Its basically sand paper you use with a drill and some polish and protectors. I will get you the Name and Link later.

hey, we use Plastx by Meguiars and also BLUEMAGIC Headlight Lens Restorer and works like a charm. the BLUEMAGIC is my Personal Favorite. I Took a BEAT UP, BADILY HAZED 03 NISSAN SENTRA HEADLIGHT and 30 mins of cleaning with the BLUEMAGIC and a microfabric towel and that did the trick!! BLUEMAGIC is in a Black 8 oz bottle and its got a Blue Top.. works great.. SAVE ur money!! or you can buy some used 1s from me.. i've got them in excellent condition!!
