As mentioned above (again) PROTECTING the lights is way more important than which way you choose to polish/clean them up.
Once they are looking shiny and new again, you will have to find some options to protect that shiny new finish or else you will have to do that work again in a few months.
I found these protective shields...and i will probably be buying some for myself.
Lamin-X shields....they seem to be the best option for protection.
