Default Hello, 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5

I just picked up a Nissan Altima 2.5 with 111,000 miles.

I don't have to worry about the pre-cat problem because the guy already burned up his oil and threw a rod.

The motors coming out, I hope I can find the needed info here to help me rebuild/replace. It is unlikely the block is good.

Thinking of getting a short block and moving the other components over.

Sooo....how is this project working out? Have you started comparing prices for motors, install, etc.?

Project is coming a long nicely. Rebuilt shortblock $500 or $2100 new engine(less accessories) or $1750 for used junkyard engine. So far no broken or seized bolts! Still need to see what I can salvage from engine.
