Heatgun + rubbing alcohol will solve your problem. Do not use razor blades and use the heatgun wisely.

Default Thought about it...

I thought about removing the "Altima & 2.5S" badges from the car, but it's four + years old now and I would think that it would be noticable to see where the badges where. After years of washing waxing the car and the light scratches that appear in the paint it might be noticable that the uncovered area has better paint.. less or no scratches + it might be a little more shiny there, I guess all depending on paint color. I'm sure many here have done it, I was just a little leary of doing my own car.

Have you tried using wd-40? I use it all the time to remove adhesives.

Goo Gone to remove the adhesives. I used a flat credit card to remove the badges and then Wax Cleaner to remove any minor scratches.

I heard that any orange based cleaners will do good.

I personally used a blow dryer and floss. Takes a little time but works great. Then I used Bug & Tar Remover and a plastic spatula from my George Foreman to get the left over adhesive off.

This will probably sound really funny/crazy but I took dental floss and basically flossed the badges off. My friend suggested it and it worked. There was some residue left over from the adhesive but I just used a multi-purpose cleaner and spent about 20min rubbing it out with a cloth. My hands were sore from the constant pressure and rubbing but the patients and time paid off. It looks great now.

the heat from the blow dryer makes the adhesive soft and easy to remove.

I did mine last week. Hair dryer on high long enough to make the double sided tape gooey then I used floss to remove the letters. Some goo gone after that then a nice wash....good to go

Can you still see the outlines of the Altima and 2.5?

Why would you want to debadge and what did you do with the holes on your car?
