Does a bad MAF sensor make your car stall while driving ?

No, when your MAF is starting to go it Will Make your car Idle Low and sputter when driving and stopped in Drive. A BAD MAF Will make your car Stall out when your foot is off the gas. The MAF Went on my Mazda 626 3 years ago and every time I took my foot off the gas I had to put it in Neutral and Rev it hard just to get to the the shop Across town. you will know if your MAF is gone believe me.
(Also I will through out Over Idle Speed Codes Setting off your Cehck engine light)

^^ He's Right..

MAF will only show there problems when idling. RUFF/Low Idle, will bog out and possibly turn off when you give it gas!

did your car turn off while driving?? or were u parked when it stalled??

if you were driving and it just turned off on you, its more likely to be an alternator problem, because the alternator is what charges and gives power to everything after you start the vehicle.
