Default HID headlights, fog lights, and high beam

Good idea? bad idea? How much to buy the bulbs & kit and have a shop install? Or is it easy enough for myself to do (I'm a pretty sucky mechanic)?

Ya, I'd love to hear some input on this too. I found an hid conversion kit online for $150. Tempting but really don't know too much a about it.

Cool, post up the website! I'm interested to see your kit. I agree...the highbeam being HID is kind of pointless!...good for blinding people! haha.

EBAY> SEARCH XENTEC HID KIT>SELLER "ORANGEMIKA"> $35 kit that ive never had any problems with.(ive bought over 20 kits from him and always arrived with 2 or 3 days and never had a problem) trust me and dont shell out ur hard earned money for fancy labeling and packaging. and the install is easy!!!!!they're called plug and play kits! feel free to ask me any questions. i dare to call myself an hid expert.

Altimus is right...no need to spend so much. I got my kit from ddmtuning.com for approximately 30.00

I also recommend 6000k...it looks awesome, and you will wonder how you were able to drive at night without em.

...I'm mobile.

Just looked up ORANGEMIKA and looks like I may just have to order me some Thanks!

The 8k have a slight blueish/cooler tint right?

everyone will tell you different. but for pure white/blueish tint i would go 6k but 8's not bad, but the higher you go the color gets uglier and you lose actual light output

Awesome. That helps. I was thinking 6k. I like the crisp clean bright white. :-)

I'm going to HID my highs. I never flash people and could use the extra light when I'm driving back to visit my parents. There's a lot of farm land between Minneapolis and Rapid City, SD...And I like start super early. I want daylight in front of me when I'm driving...

Decaf double tall nonfat 6000K for Jeanette. You got it, buddy. That's a wonderful choice, Jeanette.

Vang, we'll install your lights. It's super easy.

Im not doubting yall one bit, maybe you could give me some insight. I installed the DDM 35 watt HIDs on my four wheeler. Dont get me wrong, they light up the trails decent but when theres other four wheelers around it seemed to overtake the HIDs. I just wasnt completely satisfied with the outcome, I was expecting much more. Thats why Im startin to have my negative thoughts on them.... Anyone with thoughts?

Wow...I totally thought I was responding to this thread, when I posted here.

These HID questionnaire threads are getting out of control, lol.

Maybe we need an Internal/External Lighting section...If we don't have one. I've never looked because I always hit New Posts when I sign on.

you can go for a 55w kit, or get the 5k temp if you dont have it
