Default Hmmm ... something I noticed.

Last night while driving the car I noticed that on the door panel all the little buttons light up except for the unlock button. It's the same way on the passenger side door. I do intend to ask about this when I take the car in for other work, but I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I can't imagine that it is intended to be this way.

By the way, I don't do much night driving; only about three times in the 5 weeks that I've had the car so I can't really say for sure if this is new or has always been that way.

On my altima it is the same way, as well as on the back doors too. So I guess it is intended that way.

I know true, I think it is just cheap. At first I thought it was alright, because I thought Nissan didnt light the unlock for an easier way to tell apart the lock and unlock, because the way it is now I just glance at it see the lighted one and know that the lighted one is lock and unlighted is unlock so I dont look at the door locks more and keep my eyes on the road more. Thats how I see it

Well, I guess it is meant to be that way, so I'll live with it and leave it alone. Thanks for the response.

Things like that aggravate me. What engineer decides to not light the unlock button.. It's a safety hazard because i have to look off the road to figure out which is unlock.
