Default Hurricane Gustav.

We are getting hit pretty bad. It is only a category one now. New Orleans levees are already overflowing again. One of our members (Kalon) lives there and I hope he evacuated. So far over here, we have lost power once (for about 30 seconds). A lot of people have evacuated to my area so I'm assuming I will be OK. It is getting worse. Our fence blew down and so have a lot of branches from the trees in our backyard. Other than that, nothing major. Thank god for laptops!
We don't have a generator but I don't think the storm will be getting much worse so it isn't a big deal. The hurricane is exciting though.

Another update:
Nobody in my house, or in my neighborhood was hurt at all. There was only one guy who died during the storm; he was napping and a tree fell on his house. He was only 27 years old! Anyways, we are still getting lots of rain even though the hurricane passed. We are still under flash flood warning for a couple hours. We are 1/20 people who haven't lost power completely. Some people won't get power for 2-3 weeks. That's ridiculous, but the electric people can't go fix things unless the wind is under 35mph. We did, however, lose cable (internet and phone) for a day. That is why I wasn't on at all yesterday evening. Other than my fence falling down, nothing else was harmed. I was going to take pics of all the branches and such in the yard, but I cleaned up everything but forgot (SORRY. ). I'll update furthermore if anything worsens, if my power goes out, or anything else that may be of concern..

Where was that shot at? Our area must have been hit harder. Our trees were falling and branches were EVERYWHERE. Our street didn't flood because we have drainage.
