Hello all, I am a proud new owner of a black 2008 Altima, 2.5S as of yesterday. I am a very active member/moderator of my other forum, www.dodgeintrepid.net here is an example of one of my how-to's:

Well of course tint, and then down the road wheels. I just want to take it slow because I am going to have her for a while. lol

Are you considering the spoiler? I think it touches up the back nicely.

Well I saw one today, and though I am a spoiler man, I like the rear end the way it is. Probably because it is still brand new to me. Couple of months and I might change my mind, lol.

At my other forum, the guys are telling me (with many pictures proving) about engine fires in the 2.5 altima's. Is this something I should be concerned with or did they rectify the problem on the 2008 models?

It was a recall with the 2007 model. The 2008 is fine. Here is a link if you want to read on it.
