Default ka24de ?

i need to know is there a difference in the block and bolt hole positions for the altima ka24de and the frontier ka24de. the thing is i have altima that is dead ( drivetrain is good ) and i want to put the motor into my 73 beetle ( i know i will get hated on for this ) but i love nissan's motors and since i have the altima drivetrain and the beetle it makes sense ( besides i'm getting a 3rd gen to replace this one ) anyhow kennedy adapters makes an adapter plate for the frontier ka24de but they are unsure about if it will work with the altima block and crank. i don't know if the altima ka and 240/frontier ka are a differnt casting like the vq block for the altima and 300z was.
any help would be nice..... i can't wait to put the altima motor in a 1600lbs rear wheel drive car
