Default Lowering a 2001 2 inch drop advice...

Hi new to this forum, I have a 2001 Nissan Altima with 225/45R17 tires. My question is that if anyone here has had any experience with how well the car rides with this drop.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to AF, Jesel!

I personally don't have experience but I wouldn't see a problem with a 2" drop. I'm sure someone will have better experience/advice for you though.

Thank you,

I am not going to drop it anymore, the car looks great the way it is.

2" drop will be fine. Depending on the springs, linear or progressive, will depend on how well the car absorbs the bumps. Progressive will give you a better feeling ride. Linear will be tighter all around, but will absorb the bumps a little harsher. I like progressive, because the ride is better. You should drop it, because the tire to fender gap looks weird when you have rims. That's just my opinion. Chose what ever you think looks good in your eyes. Good luck. Post some picks of your ride and rims.
