Hello all!

Hope everyone is doing well on this beautiful friday evening

I am posting this thread to gather decisions, ideas and comments from all the members of AltimaForums.

Let me start by asking a few questions and you simply reply with your decision/answer.

1. How is the speed of the site on your computer?
   (And what is your connection speed?)
   
   
2. Are you attracted to the design?
   If so, what attracts you.
   If not, what doesn't.
   
   
3. Do you have any ideas for the site that currently isn't available?
   
   
   
4. Have you come across any errors?

These questions will just be a start in order to create what you want. So please answer in detail!

1. Speed is fast. I have a t1 or t3 line here at work. Just as fast at home with 3megs.

2. I am fine with the design. It has a homely type feel to it.

3. Maybe advertising to bring in members or if you are a member here tell some of you buddies on other forums about what a great place this is. No posting threads on other forums. I don't think they will like that very much.
Also, maybe having a live chat section for members.

4. No errors so far.

5. To kill time at work. LOL! Seriously to discuss and help other members with a common interest or problem.

6. I am a member of several other boards, all being automobile related.

1. Speed- It's been pretty quick (I have Cox high-speed internet: cable). The ONLY problem that I've seen so far is sometimes the "back" button on my browser (IE7) doesn't bring me back a level on the forum, I usually have to go to the top of the forums and click one level back:

Here is "The Nissan Altima Enthusiats Forums-> Other-> News and Announcements". If I wanted to go "back" I'd have to click on "Other".

2.Design- Great design. I used to be part of b15sentra.net which uses the same forum design so I'm used to it.

3. Ideas- More members! I could do some advertising myself back on b15sentra (I'm sure no one will mind me asking for Altima owners on a Sentra forum) to see if anyone knows some Altima owners but I can only do so much..

4. Errors- none other than the issue I mentioned in #1.

5. Use- I use Altimaforums for pretty much everything. I am big on the Classifieds section and having (if we don't already) a Vendor Classifieds section to do group buys.

6. Experience w/ past Forums- I have been an active member of VWVortex.com and B15sentra.net. When I got my Altima I immediately began searching for an Altima forum and I couldn't find any. Then one day I came accross this doing a google search so at least you know your site shows up! The biggest thing with people (from what I've experienced on other forums) is to make the layout user-friendly, which is true for this site. Once you do that, just let the forum grow on it's own. It seems like once you get a good amount of memebers in any forum, it just takes off and thrives.

I found this while searching the forum and had a few suggestions.
i previously was in a euro car club and i ran a truck club forum. a few years back.
and a few suggestions to increase interest since i am really into cars and gtg's

1. have you thought of creating some state chapters such as nor cal, so cal, oregon, so on and so on...

2. is it possible to order or have some vynil logos made for vehicle windows to promote website... such as www.ALTIMAFORUMS.net

I would rock the sticker... I already got one from another forum i was one.. but since that's a mustang forum and this actually pertains to the car I own, i'd rather have this.

Other ideas would be threads for event's like Street legal track days, or if certain ppl wanted to host some kind of get together somewhere...

Also threads for track times if ppl are willing to post??... Show off the slip + video of what your car can do!!
