Default Mid Winter Wash

As I mentioned before I had a chance to wash my car yesterday. It snowed last night so I had to document the occasion with some pics because the clean isn't going to last long. I was on my way out so my kids were with me.

damn! Sucks that you put all that time and energy into cleaning it and then have it all dirtied up because of the snow! I'm so glad I live in sunny southern cali and not in the desert Inland Empire areas!

You have to come to terms with that before you wash the car. If you are not ready to have a clean car get covered in salt then don't bother washing it, imo. The car was incredibly dirty so getting it this clean was pretty satisfying.

Winter car washes are a fact of life when you're lowered unless you can find a good touch free pull through car wash, which I have yet to find. I tried going through a car wash a couple of weeks ago only to realize the lower control arm is too low to clear the tire guide rail.

Theres a touch free here but last time I went there it left all sorts of black dots ALL over the car. At first I thought it was from the tire shine but I found it on the hood, the roof, the rear end. Its a oil based too. Took me forever to clean it off

The emphasis is on GOOD touch free car wash. Looks like the touch free in your area is a lot like mine.
